The Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce
The Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce administers arbitrations conducted under its Rules. The Institute appoints arbitrators and conciliators to both domestic and international cases.
The Arbitration Institute can also act as an appointing authority under the UNCITRAL Rules.
The Arbitration Institute was established in 1911. Since 1919 it has been operating in connection with the Finland Chamber of Commerce, but is completely independent in its operations.
The Arbitration Institute has two sets of rules, the Arbitration Rules and the Rules for Expedited Arbitration. The current rules entered into force on 1 January 2020.
